The first benchtop NMR workshop, organised by PTNMR and the AUREMN, aims to enlighten the advances in benchtop nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy, an analytical technique that is gaining increased popularity. The recent breakthroughs in equipment construction technology have brought the spotlight to benchtop NMR, which has become a competitive alternative to traditional NMR analysis by offering a rapid, non-destructive, and environmentally friendly analysis, applicable to both simple and more complex systems and at a very reasonable cost.
