On March 7, 2025, BRIDGE (Bridging Research Initiatives for Doctoral Student Group Empowerment) organized its first PhD Day, bringing together nearly 60 participants for a day of insightful discussions, skill development, and networking opportunities.
The event was held in a hybrid format, connecting researchers at both the Lisbon and Porto hubs. The morning session featured an Alumni Session, where former UCIBIO PhD students shared their career journeys, followed by an engaging roundtable discussion on career paths.
In the afternoon, participants had the chance to enhance their science communication skills and engage in interactive networking activities, fostering connections across research areas.
