Contribution of adrenergic signaling to breast tumorigenesis

Dany Silva holds a BSc in Biology from the University of Aveiro and a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Porto. His research focuses on cancer, particularly on understanding how stress-related pathways affect the carcinogenesis process in breast cancer cells. His work has provided new insights into how these pathways influence cancer initiation and alter cancer progression by reprogramming lipid metabolism.
