GuestSeminars@UCIBIO | Arwen R Pearson
Pushing the boundaries of macromolecular crystallography: time-resolved and perturbative methods to study protein structure-function-dynamics relationships
Arwen R Pearson, Hamburg Centre for Ultrafast Imaging, Universität Hamburg, Germany
Host: Maria João Romão, XTAL - Macromolecular Crystallography, UCIBIO NOVA
ZOOM link: https://ucibio.pt/l/GuestSeminars
Short Bio:
Arwen is a biophysicist interested in understanding protein-structure-dynamics relationships and how these allow proteins to regulate and catalyse chemical reactions. She develops methodology for time-resolved structural biology and coleads the T-REXX endstation on the EMBL beamline P14 at the PETRA III synchrotron.
