Seventh annual meeting of the International Society for Evolution, Medicine & Public Health
NOVA Medical School, Instituto Gulbenkian de Ciência & UCIBIO
Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian, Lisbon, 5-8 July 2022
Evolutionary Medicine is an integrative area bringing evolutionary biologists and medical scientists together to facilitate the application of concepts and approaches from evolutionary biology to medical research and medical practice. This field is growing rapidly and its relevance to society and medicine has been made all the more obvious with the recent pandemic.
ISEMPH 2022 welcomes researchers, clinicians, public health professionals, and students at all levels as well as anyone interested in this integrative view of evolutionary biology and medicine. The meeting will gather delegates from around the world. For many of us this will be the first opportunity in two years to reconnect, and to consolidate new and ongoing collaborations, while promoting important cross-talk among all disciplines that influence the field of Evolutionary Medicine.
ISEMPH sponsors annual meetings, the Oxford University Press journal Evolution, Medicine, & Public Health, The Evolution and Medicine Review, EvMedEd, and ClubEvMed.
