UCIBIO ANNUAL MEETING | September 28-29
The UCIBIO Annual Meeting will be held on 28th and 29th September at FCT NOVA, Campus Caparica.
It will be an excellent opportunity to gather UCIBIO researchers and share our science to enhance/explore further collaborations.
The Scientific Program will count with 3 keynote speakers, invited speakers from industry, presentations and flash presentations on the Thematic Lines, and Poster Sessions.

Felix Carvalho elected President of the EUROTOX
EUROTOX, the Federation of European Toxicologists & European Societies of Toxicology, elected a new executive committee for the period 2018-2020, during the 2018 Brussels Congress held September 2-5.
Cláudia Fernandes awarded Best Poster Award at PEPMAT2018 conference
Cláudia Fernandes presented a poster “Affinity triggered hydrogels with tailored properties” in the Third International Conference on Peptide Materials for Biomedicine and Nanotechnology, PEPMAT2018, which took place in London between 16 and 18 July.
Beatriz Coelho awarded the FEMS Best European Master Thesis Award
Beatriz Coelho, PhD student at the Nanomedicine Lab, was distinguished with the FEMS Master Thesis Award, attributed for the first time by the Federation of European Materials Societies (FEMS).
